On Tuesday 15 August, The City of Wolverhampton Council and the Royal British Legion will gather at the St Peter’s Square Cenotaph to commemorate a significant occasion in history – Victory over Japan Day, also known as VJ Day. On this day, we will remember and honour the brave men and women who served and sacrificed during one of the most significant events of the 20th century – the end of World War II.
